Location: New flying site for pilots light thermic conditions with impressive views. 20 minutes walk to Jeans Hill, in Kleinmond. 

SAFETY BRIEFING – WHAT TO EXPECT

From arrival to landing, your safety and enjoyment are our top priority. Here’s exactly what you can expect on the day:

1. Arrival, Check-In & Gear Setup (±15 Minutes)

You’ll be welcomed by our friendly team and checked in for your flight. We’ll get you suited up with professional harness, helmet, and safety equipment — all inspected and certified. This is also your time to ask questions and relax into the experience.

2. Ground School & Safety Briefing (±10 Minutes)

Before takeoff, your instructor will walk you through everything you need to know in a simple, calm, and easy-to-understand way. You’ll learn:

How takeoff works

What to do during the flight

How landing feels
No experience needed — we guide you every step of the way.

3. Final Weather & Wind Check (±5 Minutes)

Paragliding is 100% weather-dependent. Just before launching, our pilots do a final professional check on wind direction, strength, and conditions to ensure maximum safety and optimum flying time.

4. Takeoff & Flight – The Magic Happens

This is the moment everyone waits for. A few easy steps forward and you’re gently lifted into the air. From here, you’ll enjoy:

5. Landing & Post-Flight Debrief

BOOKING POLICIES

1. Booking & Reservations

  • All flights must be booked in advance to secure your preferred date and time.

  • Bookings can be made via our online booking system, email, or phone.

  • A valid contact number and email are required at the time of booking.

2. Payment

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.

  • We accept credit/debit cards, EFT, or cash (if pre-arranged).

  • Prices include all equipment, instruction, and safety briefings.

3. Age & Weight Limits

  • Minimum age: 12 years (under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian).

  • Maximum weight: 100–120 kg (varies by glider and pilot discretion for safety).

  • Medical conditions: Must disclose any relevant medical issues; some conditions may require a doctor’s approval.

4. Safety & Conduct

  • Passengers must follow all instructions from the certified tandem pilot.

  • Unsafe behavior may result in cancellation without refund.

  • Alcohol or drugs are strictly prohibited before the flight.

5. Weather & Flight Conditions

  • Paragliding is weather dependent.

  • In the event of unsuitable weather (strong winds, rain, or low visibility), flights may be rescheduled or refunded.

  • Final flight decision is made by the pilot on the day.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations by the passenger:

    • 48+ hours notice → full refund or reschedule

    • Less than 48 hours → 50% refund

    • No-show → no refund

  • Cancellations by the operator: Full refund or alternative date offered.

7. Photography & Videos

  • Optional video/photo packages are available.

  • By default, passengers may bring personal cameras if safe and approved by the pilot.

8. Liability

  • Tandem flights are conducted by certified pilots and comply with safety regulations.

  • Passengers participate at their own risk; signing a waiver is required.

  • Operators carry insurance, but passengers must understand inherent risks.
